NYT Tuesday

The Metal Apple
no apple I’d ever tasted before.
smoldered from the inside,
Sun set on crushed buildings in a reimagined world.
A decade now since the tall towers fell
not fully healed,
put together,
Piece by Piece.
with a hard-shell
virtually impossible to break
no apple I’d ever tasted before.
